The heavy duty manhole frame is designed for use in excavations up to 15 metres length. It can also be used in conjunction with the light duty manhole frame for installations where the excavation sizes can be up to 15 metres long, but minimal width. Adjustment is achieved by a 1 metre stroke double-acting hydraulic cylinder which also gives hydraulic retraction of the manhole shore frame to facilitate ease of removal.
